Peer review process

The “Primopiano” [Featured] and “Esperienze e Studi" [Experiences and Studies] sections undergo double-blind peer review.

The peer review process consists of the following steps:

1) After acknowledging receipt of the article, the Editorial Board makes an initial assessment based on the topic's relevance and the contribution's overall quality.
2) If it passes the first evaluation, the article is sent to at least one anonymous reviewer, who is an expert in the relevant field.
3) Within about two months, the decision of the reviewer(s) is communicated to the author. The evaluation may have the following outcomes:
- The article is accepted.
- The article is accepted with a request for minor changes.
- The article is accepted with a request for substantial changes.
- The article is rejected.
4) Once the evaluation is positive and the requested changes have been made, the article is published in the first available issue.
Authors and reviewers are invited to review the journal's Manifesto and Code of Ethics.
